The very least you can say is that LGBT clergy are openly in place in the Anglican Church and Desmond Tutu is very much a supporter of LGBT rights. Given the clear split within the Anglican Church on gay relationships and rights and the large number of Anglicans(if not a majority) vehemently opposed to these, this statement seems a bit rich.
