But it could all be too late – despite Suzy's suspicions about Phil. It seems that Suzy has something up her sleeve that could persuade him to stay with her, regardless of his feelings elsewhere.

Max discharges himself from hospital against doctors' orders as he is getting increasingly frustrated as he tries to find out what happened to him. He manages to claw his way back into Tanya's house – forcing Jack to move out – but while Abi is delighted, Lauren seeks solace elsewhere. Dot is reluctant to help out and ends up telling Max that while Tanya might have done wrong – it was not beyond understanding.

There's a very dramatic start to the week in Walford. After a run in with Archie, Sean walks away from the Vic unaware that inside Roxy is going into labour. She's screaming for Sean, but he's busy sulking. An ambulance soon arrives to whisk the expectant mother to hospital, but she insists that she's not going anywhere without Sean. It seems like she's got no choice though as the baby is well on its way. Archie promises to find the lad.

Max is still on a life support machine this week. The Brannings are certainly feeling the strain - Tanya is drained and Bradley is quite obviously edgy. Jack is also far from in the clear. DI Turner points out that if Max wakes up, he could easily frame Jack for the accident. This is not welcome news for Jack.

This week, pernickety Ian Beale proves he can still cause trouble even when he is confined to bed. After falling on some margarine that Bianca had deliberately smeared across the café floor as part of a half-baked plan to sue Ian for fake injury damages, Walford's answer to Sir Alan Sugar is bedridden with leg and back injuries.
EastEnders: Honey leaves Billy
Honey and Billy were never the most believable of couples. Billy first appeared on our screens as the distant cousin of Grant and Phil Mitchell. He was also the abusive uncle of young Jamie Mitchell and wasn't exactly doting father or husband material. His transformation from cowardly bully of children to cowardly family man required a substantial suspension of belief on behalf of the audience. When he finally got hitched to Honey it seemed an unlikely coupling to say the least.
EastEnders: Jase is killed in gangland attack
Albert Square residents are shocked and devastated this week when loveable rogue Jase is killed by gangland thugs on the eve of his wedding to Dawn. What should have been a fun stag do with all the boys in the Vic, quickly escalates into a violent bloodbath.
